Peanut butter meringue


1 cup egg whites

1 cup sugar

small dash of cream of tartar

3/4 cup peanut butter


Whisk whites, sugar, and cream of tartar over simmering water until warm and sugar is dissolved.

Whip to stiff peaks.

Warm peanut butter in a dobe broiler. Gently fold in peanut butter.


Concord Grape Sauce


2 1/2 qt. grape juice*

2 1/4 cups sugar

1 thai chili (optional, gives the jelly just a little heat)

1 1/4 t citric acid


Put all ingredients in a pot and reduce by about half, until the consistency of thick maple syrup.


* 9 lbs grapes, we like fresh concord if available at your farmers market!

put all grapes in pot and cook down until broken down, strain.
