It’s the perfect condiment for winter, and so easy to make. Enjoy over ice cream, drizzled over a brownie, or in a delicious mug of hot chocolate. You can alter the ratio of sugar to chocolate to suit your individual preferences
1 ½ cups dark brown sugar
1/3 cup water
2/3 cup cocoa powder
 1 1/3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
generous pinch of salt
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pot and cook over medium heat until chocolate and brown sugar is melted. Strain. Can be kept refrigerated in an air
tight container for several weeks.
