Rick Bayless’ Frontera Farmer Foundation is joining with Chicago-based nonprofit FamilyFarmed for a celebration on Sunday, April 30 at The Art Institute of Chicago. All proceeds from the Celebration will benefit the organizations’ efforts to promote family farming and a healthier, more sustainable food system.
CRAFT AND CUISINE
Kick off the start of summer at Craft and Cuisine May 13 at the Park at Wrigley. Attend one of two sessions (Sat. 1-4 p.m. or 6-9 p.m.) and enjoy more than 40 beer and wine tastings, live music, food bites and chef demonstrations from some of Chicago’s most celebrated chefs. Grab your commemorative cup and toast to the sunshine!

Expanding in it’s second year, Fulton Market Harvest Fest brings together area restaurants, fantastic craft beer, live music and cooking demonstrations to celebrate the neighborhood’s rich culinary history and showcase it’s present-day diverse offerings. Curated by Chefs Stephanie Izard and Paul Kahan, Fulton Market Harvest Fest unites the city’s top culinary talent with notable chefs from around the country for three days of pop-up dinners, food and beverage classes, cooking demonstrations and a neighborhood street fest. With proceeds going to food-focused charities, the second year of Fulton Market Harvest Fest hopes to draw over 30,000 attendees over the course of the weekend.
