One Night With the Wandering Goat
I can’t be certain, but I’m fairly sure I just ate my weight in bacon.
Last night, I attended the latest Wandering Goat dinner, one of several to be hosted by Top Chef season four winner Stephanie Izard before she opens her new restaurant, the Drunken Goat, in the West Loop in January.
The roving dinner party’s latest incarnation, held in the slick new urban loft-y Kitchen Chicago digs at 324 North Leavitt Street, featured an all-bacon theme, inspired, Izard told me, by the upcoming International Bacon Day this Saturday, September 5.
